It was after four days of efforts that the South Delhi Municipal Corporation along with police and Delhi Disaster Management Authority, finally managed to raze a tilted six-storey building in south Delhi’s Munirka. The building, located on Baba Gangnath Marg, had started tilting last Thursday. SDMC said it was impossible to bring down the 10-feet-wide structure manually as it had tilted a lot, and could have collapsed anytime. However, the people who were living in the demolished building and those around it now face an uncertain future. They neither have clothes and food nor papers to prove their identity. Worse, students who face board exams are left without books.
