Poha is a widely used ready to eat food in India. It is easily digestible and nutritious. Chiru kitchen introduces Poha Chivda Sweet & Spicy Mixture for a tea time snack.


Poha -2 cup

cashew nuts - 1 tsp

raisins - 1 tsp

chickpeas roasted - 2tsp

peanuts - 2 tsp

red chilli - 3

sugar - 3tsp

turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

red chilli powder - 1/2tsp

oil - 2tsp

salt to taste


Place a pan on the stove and dry roast poha for 5 minutes in a medium flame. Keep it aside in a bowl.Add oil to the pan and roast the cashews, raisins, chickpeas, red chillies and peanuts. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder with the peanuts. keep it in the bowl. Add 1/4 cup of water to the same pan and mix sugar and salt . Dissolve sugar till one string consistency. Now the time to add the poha and other ingredients to the pan and switch off the flame. Mix it well. The sweet and spicy Poha Mixture is ready.
