Chicken - 1

Dry red chilly - 15 or 3 tablespoon

Ginger chopped - 2 tablespoon

Garlic chopped - 2 tablespoon

Coconut pieces - 3 tablespoon

Onion - 4

Shallots -15

Tomato - 2

Gram flour - 2 teaspoon




Marinate chicken pieces with turmeric powder and salt for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and add red chilli pieces, coconut pieces and garlic . Saute’ for 5 seconds. After add ginger , seallots and onion . Stir well until the onion become soft. Then add tomatoes. Add salt. Saute’ for another 5 seconds. Then add the marinated chicken . Cover the pan for a while and after add coriander powder and red chilli powder. Mix well . Cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes.Stir occasionally . Then add gram flour and mix. Add plenty of curry leaves. Chicken Mirchi is ready to be served.

No need to add water, garam masala to this curry and it is suitable for rice, roti etc.
